I came here right at opening. I was greeted by a nice asian lady. I ordered the sashimi meal and the portions were great. The fish quality appears to be good too. This is a hole in the wall location. I’d highly recommend this as a sushi spot. There is parking nearby.

I recently moved to Covington from NY, and was apprehensive of ordering sushi from a restaurant in Kentucky. But hearing only good things about Nagomi, I tried it, and had no reason to worry at all! The fish was fresh and delicious, the dango yummy; even the ginger dressing on the salad and the miso were excellent. Every dish felt like it was made with love, and the pride of the chef and his attendant, who I believe to be his wife, could be tasted in every bite. While the prices are high for the area, the service and food are excellent. This would be a romantic date spot, and I will surely take my girlfriend when she comes to the area.

Delicious sushi, seaweed salad, miso soup, appetizers, and deserts. Ambiance is quaint and comfortable. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to try Japanese food or someone who already loves Japanese food. Great for date night, celebrations, and special occasions. We had an expensive meal, but there is definitely a range of options!

I had one of the best dining experiences of my life here. The food was spectacular. I appreciate the time and craftsmanship that went into my meal. It was beautiful and delicious. The owners are such wonderful and attentive people. They even were kind enough to let me practice some Japanese for my upcoming trip. The atmosphere was great. It is a nice small space that feels so cozy and quaint. Everyone should dine here.

Love this place. Quaint and clean with very friendly service and fantastic flavors Each dish came out and was presented beautifully. We each tried an appetizer and we liked both of them. He got the picked vegetables and I got the shrimp shusami. I didn’t like being able to see the vein in a shrimp but the flavors were terrific. For the main dish I ordered the chicken katsu rice bowl and he ordered chicken curry dish. I tried his dish first and LOVED it. The flavors were just so good. I’m from San Diego and I have struggled to find a lot of flavor in the food in this area..... well if you love Japanese food you have to try this place! I also loved the little side salad and I am just not a soup person so I can’t judge the Miso that came with the meal. Definitely try! The experience is very personal as well.. i had called to make reservations about a week ago and they called me ahead of time to let me know they wouldn’t be open... due to some personal medical thing. We were seeing a play after the meal so if we hadn’t gotten that call it would have been a real pain. I think most places would just put up a sign... i love that they took the time to call! Loved everything about our experience.

This is a great spot! The owners are so kind, every time I go they always come by to say hello. Lately, I’ve been enjoying the ramen during their lunch service! The Dora-yaki dessert was also so incredible. I don’t have a picture because I accidentally ate it first :)

My partner and I have been to Nagomi twice for dinner, and both occasions were exceptional!!! You are guaranteed excellent service, a peaceful atmosphere, and the highest quality Japanese food I’ve ever had in the Cincinnati / NKY area. Seriously, the food is amazingly delicious! Between the two visits, we’ve had the miso soup, seaweed salad, shrimp shumai, pork cutlet (katsu-don) dinner, nabeyaki-udon dinner, yellowtail nigiri, spicy tuna & Philadelphia sushi rolls, and the imagawa-yaki & kushi-dango desserts. Everything is so intentionally prepared & served and made with the best, freshest ingredients. Go check out Nagomi for your next date night or lunch with friends! I know you’ll love it just as much as us. :)
